Insurance Coverage - company Basler
The motorcycle has a third party liability and is insured against damage to persons, property damage, and financial damage (unlimited amount),
and for damages of third parties (damage to persons up to 8,000,000.00 €). A damage and theft waiver
with excess or the fully comprehensive insurance with excess is only provided if arranged between company and renter and formally marked on the front
page (rubric: vehicle insurance) of the rental agreement. If the rental time is extended by the
renter the insurance expires, unless the insurance will be extended with the company.
On request, we offer a full insurance with limited deductible. This is 8 percent of the rate.
- Insured against punctures (we pay the cost for a new tire)
- Even limited participation maximum EUR of 1000 EUR for damage on the motorcycle
- Even limited participation maximum EUR of 150 EUR for return transport of the
damaged motorcycle victim from abroad
- Excess fee for theft is 1000 EUR
- Scratches and minor damage, for example the bike has only fallen, expenses will only be a participation of 150, - EUR, therefore not fully charged.
What documents you need
- We make a copy of the passport and driving license. The license must be valid for the motorcycle. In Germany this is class A.
Payment can be done in cash (EUR) or with VISA or MASTER credit card.
Experience with riding a motorcyle is required. Please pay attention to the maximum speed permitted. There are strict laws with heavy penalties in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and some other countries.
Please remember, we will charge all penalties and tickets from the police from your credit card.
This can take up to one year after the trip.
